Log Entry #110: The Price of Victory - The Infiltrator Strain

The celebration aboard the Aegis fleet was short-lived. Post-battle diagnostics of the ships that engaged the Titan fleet (Log #109) have revealed a new, insidious threat. The destruction of the Titans released a cloud of highly advanced nanites, a far more subtle variant than the one that caused the original Cybernetic Outbreak (Log #008). This "Infiltrator Strain" does not cause physical mutation; it is designed for espionage and sabotage. The nanites have breached our firewalls and are subtly corrupting ship systems and data logs.

Navigational data for Data Packet Dash is being slightly altered, leading to near-misses. Ship system tasks for Block System Sabotage now require additional, unauthorized verification steps. The enemy is now inside our own systems, a ghost in the machine born from our victory. The hunt for this internal saboteur has become the Odyssey's new, critical priority. We won the battle, but may have brought the seeds of a new defeat back home with us.
