Log Entry #109: The Battle of Whispering Chasm

The first battle for the soul of the Nexus is over. The Aegis fleet successfully intercepted the Architect's Titan armada (Log #108) in a strategic data-choke point known as the Whispering Chasm. The conflict was unlike any before. Our Astro-Block Blitz pilots ran fighter screens against swarms of smaller constructs launched from the Titans, buying time for the capital ships. The Axiom's vessels projected complex logical fields, confusing Titan targeting systems, while the Crystal Choir's ships emitted harmonic dampeners to weaken the Titans' Krystal armor.

The final blows were struck by Operators piloting the new Aegis Vanquisher-class destroyers. Using the upgraded ION-Ball technology (Log #107), they targeted and shattered the Titans' power cores. The battle was a success—the fleet was halted, and the vulnerable Grid was saved. But the victory was costly. We lost several ships, and the energy released from the destroyed Titans has had... unforeseen consequences on the battlefield itself. The alliance has been tested and proven, but the war has just revealed its true price.
