Analysis suggests the new, stable frequencies of the Grid are incompatible with the nanites' chaotic command structure. The "Stillness Protocol" (Log #070) seems to have pacified them on a fundamental level. The outbreak zones are now silent, filled with the husks of a war that ended without a final battle.

While the immediate threat is neutralized, the nanites remain. They are in a state of deep dormancy, integrated into the very code of the beings they infected.
