Pilots undertaking Quantum Aviator missions are reporting a new, deeply unsettling phenomenon within the dimensional conduits. Alongside the expected phase-barrier instabilities (ref: Log #002) and Chrono-Echoes (Log #021), drones are now encountering "ghost signals." These appear as faint, translucent duplicates of their own XQ-1 drones, often mimicking their flight paths or darting erratically before vanishing.

These are not physical obstacles but cause severe sensor interference and can lead to critical pilot disorientation, resulting in collisions with actual phase-barriers. The origin of these ghost signals is unknown. Theories range from advanced mirages created by the extreme temporal distortions, to a form of psychological warfare by the entities within the Quantum Foam (Log #034), or perhaps echoes of lost Aviator drones from previous failed missions.

The Chrono Defense network's feedback loop (Log #025) is suspected of contributing to the intensity of these manifestations. Navigating the conduits now requires not only precision flight but also distinguishing real threats from these increasingly convincing phantoms. Operator cognitive load is at an all-time high.
