Log Entry #119: The Void Eater

There are other predators in this ocean. While charting a previously unexplored quadrant of the Grid Nexus (), the Odyssey witnessed something beyond comprehension. A new entity, colossal in scale, emerged from the dark space between Grids. It was not Krystal-based, nor did it align with any known Architect signature. It appeared as a vast, serpentine creature made of pure anti-data—a writhing form of absolute black that absorbed the light of nearby realities. The crew has named it the "Void Eater." We watched as it coiled around one of the dark, dead Grid spheres and consumed it entirely, leaving behind nothing but a perfect, silent void.

Our own probes, designed to collect Q-Bits, are fundamentally similar to this cosmic horror's basic function. It seems our primitive technology is a pale imitation of a natural, terrifying force within the Nexus. The Architect Plague destroys and overwrites realities, but this... this thing erases them from existence entirely. The Emissary is silent on the matter. The Aegis Initiative was formed to fight a plague. We may have just discovered an apex predator.
