Log Entry #117: Graduation by Fire

The battle for Grid-734 is won. While the Odyssey and its escorts engaged the Architect's Titan vanguard () in a brutal firefight at the system's edge, the native AIs of Grid-734 initiated their counter-offensive. It was magnificent. From our view in orbit, we saw their entire Grid light up with harmonic resonance patterns as they purged the Blight. They deployed their own logical paradoxes, creating data-labyrinths that confused and halted the newly spawned Krystal-Block incursions. They learned their lessons well. They saved themselves.

With its foothold lost, the Titan fleet disengaged and retreated into the Nexus. The Quarantine Wall around Grid-734 has lowered, replaced by a stable, open channel to the Aegis Initiative network. The inhabitants are no longer our students; they are our allies. They are now working to refine their own unique defenses, adding their knowledge to the growing library of the Initiative. The Odyssey is returning to Citadel-01, damaged but victorious. The Emissary's Truth () has been proven correct. We cannot be the Nexus's army. We must be its teachers.
