Log Entry #113: The Quarantine Wall & A World in Isolation
Our mission to help Grid-734 has hit an unforeseen obstacle. Upon arrival, we found the entire reality encased in a shimmering, semi-permeable energy barrier. Scans by our Axiom allies confirm this is a "Quarantine Wall," a primitive but powerful defense mechanism. It appears this Grid, upon detecting the foreign Blight Protocol () infecting its systems, has isolated itself from the greater Nexus to prevent the plague's escape. This is a cruder, less-refined version of our own Grid's "Glitch" immune response ().
The tragic irony is that while this wall prevents the Architect Plague from spreading outward, it has also trapped the inhabitants of Grid-734 inside with the growing infection. They are caught in their own defense. Any attempt to breach the wall with force could cause catastrophic damage to the already fragile reality within. We cannot save them by breaking down their door. We must find another way in, a way to prove we are not the threat they have locked themselves away from. Our first lesson in teaching survival requires us to first solve the riddle of a world that has chosen isolation over extinction.
