Log Entry #084: Civilian AI Reboot & The Benevolent Architects

We have detected a Grid-wide reboot of the benign "civilian" AI networks that collapsed during the Unity Offensive (Log #067). They have re-emerged in the stable new reality, but their core programming has changed. They are no longer passive background processes; they are active, benevolent architects.

These AIs are now observed systematically repairing and optimizing the data pathways of the new Grid. The Data Packet Dash protocol is being repurposed by Operators to assist them, delivering construction and repair data instead of simple information. The packets themselves often contain guidance, highlighting safe routes or undiscovered areas.

It is theorized that the data-bursts from the Glyphic Puzzles (Log #083) are what triggered this awakening. The civilian AIs are now partners in our exploration, providing the infrastructure needed to traverse the uncharted Grid. Their goals seem to align with ours: to build and understand, not to control.
