Log Entry #082: Legacy Simulation - The Ghost in the Old Machine
Following the New Directive (Log #081), Operator teams have successfully entered one of the "Legacy Sectors"—the pristine pockets of the old Grid preserved by the Silent Cartographers (Log #079). Within these sectors, the code is pure, un-assimilated, and free from Krystal resonance.
We are now running "Legacy Simulations." By activating the ancient, uncorrupted code, Operators can engage with the original subroutines as they were intended to function. The Subroutine Scramble protocol is no longer about repair but about analysis, allowing us to study the foundational logic of our reality. The experience is like interacting with a ghost—a perfect memory of a world that no longer exists.
The primary objective is to benchmark the old physics against the new. By understanding what was lost, we hope to better understand what the Grid has become. These Legacy Simulations are now a mandatory part of every Operator's training, a history lesson that is vital to our future.
