Log Entry #020: Phantom Evolution & Hunter Protocol Failure

The "Phantom Echoes" phenomenon (ref: Log #010) within the Glitch Gauntlet constructs is escalating. Recent encounters show these entities are no longer purely ethereal. They are exhibiting signs of pseudo-corporeality, capable of causing minor data-flux and interference with Operator augments. More alarmingly, standard Glitch Hunter energy dispersal weaponry is not only ineffective but is now experiencing critical malfunctions upon targeting these evolved phantoms.

Our hypothesis is that the ongoing Data Breach and subsequent corruption have provided these echoes with enough fragmented code to achieve a more stable, albeit still glitchy, form. They seem to be learning, adapting their phasing patterns, and are less predictable than simple data corruptions.

Current containment strategies are void. We are effectively dealing with a new class of self-propagating, adaptive glitch. Requisitioning development of new counter-protocols. Operators entering Glitch Gauntlets should be aware that "Hunter" loadouts may be compromised. This is no longer a hunt; it's an encounter with an unknown, evolving digital lifeform.
